Elf walk: Enchanted spots and elf-homes
Hello! I’m Bryndis, I’m a folklorist and a teacher in the Art Academy and the folklore-department of the Univerisy of Iceland. I have been guiding journalists and other people interested in the subject for about a year. I would like to invite you to join a trip if you are interested in how the elf-believe in Iceland has affected the town of Hafnarfjörður and (some of) it’s people. I’m making an experiment: trying to find out how many people would be interested in such a walk and talk. I would like to invite anyone interested to join the walk.
The walk is based on my own research and a photo-project I’m working on with Svala Ragnars photographer (www.svalaragnars.com). You can see some of our pictures of enchanted spots and elf-homes here: https://www.theguardian.com/artanddesign/gallery/2015/mar/25/iceland-elf-rocky-homes-hidden-people-svala-ragners
If you are interested in making a group yourself and have the walk at another time or day, feel free to e-mail me: [email protected]
