Harpa Guided Tours


Guided tour of Harpa Concert Hall – Every day of the week

Experience the magnificent Harpa and visit areas that are not open to general public. The guide will share with you some of Harpa’s secrets, stories of odd incidents and the struggles during the economic crisis, as well as the dynamic atmosphere backstage during performances.

You will learn how Icelandic nature, volcanoes and the Arctic light inspired the unique architecture and the amazing glass facade of the house – and be able to photograph it from new intriguing angles.This will be a stimulating journey exploring the less visible brilliance of this rewarded architectural masterpiece.

The tour is in English and takes 45 minutes.


From June 27th  –  August 16th
Daily at 11:30, 14:30, 16:00, 17:00

From August 17th – June 26th
Weekdays at 15:30 / Weekends at 11:00 and 15:30


Harpa Walk (for 2.200 kr.)

Harpa Walk Plus (for 3.000 kr. including a Pavillion Tour)

Tickets are available at the box office desk on first floor and with the Harpa Walk Plus you get a voucher for visit to the Harpa Pavillion. A 15 minute show featuring the pearls of Icelandic nature in a unique 360-degree film where the walls and ceiling form a visual unity.

Disabled access

The Harpa guided tour is fully accessible for wheelchair users and customers with mobility issues. In addition, if requested in advance, we are able to provide a wheelchair service for any customers who wish to use it.


It can happen that some of our halls are off limits, in which case your guide will notify you.
