One more volcanic eruption started on the Reykjanes Peninsula today, the Blue Lagoon and Grindavík have been evacuated. It started at 9:45 this morning. It is the eleventh eruption on the peninsula since 2011 and the eighth on the Sundhnúkur crater row. It is much smaller than recent eruptions in the early stages.
