For the second day of summer, Loft Hostel is inviting you to a concert with the ever so talented musicians Mr. Silla and Teitur Magnússon. It starts at 8 pm. It will be lovely.

Boston will be draped in velvet and transformed into a gay haven where everyone is welcome to dance and explore the spectrum of the rainbow. Heiðrikur á Heygum, a multi talented artist from the Faroe Islands, will be playing with his lovely hags, Janus Rasmussen and Sigrún Skafta. They are gonna give you a little bit of Kate Bush, some Boy George and other amazing icons. Gonna be fun! From 10pm to closing, 03am.

Four local hip hop greats will join forces and throw a monster hip hop party that will keep the city shakin’ well into the small hours of Saturday morning. Get ready for an all out lyrical assault from emcees Bent, Gísli Pálmi and Emmsjé Gauti, as the incomparable Logi Pedro brings a steady soundtrack of today’s freshest beats (some of which haven’t even been invented at the time of writing). The crew will be joined on stage by a hand-picked gourmet selection of Reykjavík’s best. Expect antics. And hijinx. Starts at 11pm.
