Jazz lovers can look forward to the next week because the annual Reykjavik Jazz festival begins on Wednesday August 12.
The whole week is stuffed with events inspired by jazz from different parts of the world. The opening ceremony is on Wednesday at the concert hall Harpa. On that night, there will be Nordic, Italian and Icelandic vibes at Harpa which should be really interesting.
The next days will be as full as the first, with a great number of different artists from different countries. The festival ends on the 16th of August with a Louis Armstrong tribute concert, which marks the 50th anniversary of the legend’s only visit and performance in Iceland.
If you’re a jazz lover, or even just a liker, you should not miss out on these delightful days at Harpa.
