Stekkjastaur – The first Icelandic Yule Lad to come to town

The Icelandic Yule Lads - StekkjastaurTonight, Stekkjastaur (Sheep-Cote Clod), the first of the thirteen Icelandic Yule lads, will come to town! Have you been naughty or nice? Will you get candy or a potato?

Due to his affinity for sheep milk, Stekkjastaur spends most of his time among the humans breaking into the sheep pens and trying to suckle the ewes. He is resilient in his efforts despite his disability, his two peg legs that make him completely stiff.
